Sweet Group President Steve Alessio Honored as 2026 Developer of the Year by NAMC Tri-State

Sweet Group (Sweet) is proud to announce that President Steve Alessio was honored as the 2026 Developer of the Year at the National Association of Minority Contractors, Inc. (NAMC) Tri-State Networking Dinner Cruise.

The award recognizes Steve’s leadership, dedication, and contributions to the construction and development industry, as well as his continued commitment to delivering impactful projects that strengthen communities throughout the region.

The award was presented by Vlada Kenniff, PhD, DBIA, President of the New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust (Trust). Sweet is honored to partner with the Trust on the transformation of Nostrand Houses, a major modernization effort focused on preserving and improving public housing for New Yorkers.

Throughout his career, Steve has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation in the built environment.
