95 EVERGREEN

Bushwick - New York
Client: Savanna Fund
Architect:  Fogarty Finger

95 Evergreen Avenue is a Silver LEED certified office building with over 150,000 square feet of commercial space. Built in 1951, this site originally housed the Schlitz Brewery and required the adaptive reuse of the structure for it to remain viable. Sweet Group renovated the entire interior infrastructure and successfully converted the pre-existing industrial building into a modern commercial office space.

In addition to all the new design features, the main exterior of the building was structurally compromised and required corrections on each floor and enlargements of the existing window openings. The project also required the installation of many new services and utilities, including electrical service, new Con Edison vaults, new high pressure gas service, new domestic fire and water services, new elevators, custom high-efficiency windows, new mechanical equipment and updated steam-heating system. Sweet Group also completed a complete roofing assembly and exterior site package, including solar paneling.
