Sweet Group is committed to improving the resiliency of New York City, especially our waterfront neighborhoods. In 2013, Sweet supported SLSCO LP on the New York City Build It Back program, established to support our community's rebuild after Hurricane Sandy. The program, led by the Mayor’s Housing Recovery Office, assisted local residents with rehabilitation, reconstruction and elevation of their homes. With Sweet Group as a key member of the team, SLSCO LP completed the reconstruction or permanent replacement of over 750 homes throughout Staten Island and Queens, utilizing Design-Build methods for the permanent replacements.
