The New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust contracted SLS as the design-builder to facilitate the comprehensive modernization of 16 existing buildings in 6 phases at Nostrand Houses. This large-scale modernization encompasses design and construction upgrades to 1,146 residential apartments and common areas.  Sweet Group serves as the Construction Manager on this project leading all field and construction operations.

Major scopes of work include resident engagement and relocation, hazardous material abatement and remediation, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, apartment interior updates, window replacement, elevator replacement, common area improvements, MEP systems, pest and waste management, and façade repairs.
