
NYCHA FY21 WASTE YARDS REDESIGN

This multi-phase project modernizes 14 waste yards across 10 NYCHA developments throughout New York City, enhancing waste management operations, site functionality, and safety for residents and maintenance personnel.
The comprehensive scope of work includes the repair and replacement of large trash compactors, installation of new fencing and secure access gates, asphalt paving, construction of storage and containment areas, pneumatic waste disposal systems, upgraded electrical infrastructure to support new equipment, CCTV security systems, and energy-efficient site lighting. Throughout the project, resident engagement and proactive communication remain a key priority, ensuring the work is completed with minimal disruption while delivering long-term improvements to the communities served.
